Ordering a bouquet from your photo in Beijing: what the season allows
In 1614 Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder painted roses, lily of the valley, cyclamen, violet, hyacinth and tulips in one vase, though none of them flower in the same season. The Getty holds the picture, pieced together from separate studies, and a picture sent for a bouquet from your photo in Beijing can hide the same trick. The picture sets the palette and the shape, while the florist builds the bouquet from what is in stock and confirms everything before payment.
How a bouquet is made from the picture you send
A reference picture goes into the chat first, and the florist matches it against similar bouquets already made, each with its own price, before putting one together to match it. Where there is no picture at hand, describing the occasion and a budget works just as well: the manager sends back a few options, photos and prices included, before anything is charged.
Every bouquet here is made to order. Nothing sits ready on a shelf: the flowers for it are bought only after the order is paid.
A palette can also be described in words rather than shown in a picture. A monochrome scheme keeps to shades of one colour, an analogous one leans on colours that sit next to each other on the wheel around a single lead shade, and a complementary scheme pairs two colours from opposite sides of it.
Spring in the northern hemisphere brings bulb flowers and ranunculus, and the peony season that follows opens in early summer. Cut peonies reach the catalogue for most of the year, though never quite all twelve months.
Chrysanthemum, gerbera, alstroemeria, lily, eustoma and carnation are greenhouse-grown and stay in the catalogue every month of the year. A flower missing from a reference picture is replaced by one near it in shade and price, and the swap shows up on the photo sent before the courier leaves.
The names on the grid work as a guide to what such swaps can look like: a 35 Alstroemeria Bouquet, a Peony Bouquet "Wendy", a Purple Calla Lilies Bouquet.
Checking the bouquet before the courier leaves
A photo of the finished bouquet arrives before the courier sets off, and any correction asked for at that point is made before departure, not after.
The total shown in the cart is final: there is nothing more to hand the courier. Payment runs on a secure page by Visa or Mastercard. No account is needed either — a name and a phone number are enough, and that same number is where the photo and the delivery message land.
Bouquet from photo delivery in Beijing: card, address, payment
Bouquet from photo delivery in Beijing is free within the centre, and how soon it can go out is shown on the bouquet's own page rather than promised in general; the delivery page has the rest of the detail.
A card with a message costs nothing extra, and it can carry a signature or none at all — the courier is told only the recipient's name and address. Without an address, a phone number is enough to find them. Most orders are delivered the same day they are placed.
Without a picture of your own to send, a good starting point is the designer bouquets section, put together by a florist rather than from a client's photo, or the mono bouquets built around a single flower. Peonies, in season from early summer, are a shortcut to that colour on their own — the peonies section has them. Any of the three can still be adjusted by message before the order is placed.
