Black balloons in Copenhagen: paired with gold, white or red, latex or foil
Black balloons in Copenhagen never stand alone in the grid: every name pairs black with a second colour — gold appears in several of them, with white, transparent or red hearts elsewhere. The choice starts with that partner colour, then moves to the format — a single latex or foil balloon, or a fountain such as the Balloon Fountain "Black Gold".
Latex or foil: how long a black balloon stays up
Latex is porous, so helium slips through it steadily. An untreated latex balloon stays afloat for about half a day, less in the heat. A foil balloon holds its helium for several days, since the material does not let gas through as easily. The section carries both materials, and the name tells you which: the Happy Birthday! balloons are latex, while the "Happy Birthday!" Black & Gold balloon is foil. A treatment applied from inside, such as Hi-Float, can stretch a latex balloon's float time to several days as well.
Adding black balloons to a flower order
Balloons, sweets and a toy go into the same cart as a bouquet, added alongside it rather than ordered apart. A card with a written message comes free, and it can carry a signature or stay anonymous. Orders are taken around the clock, paid by Visa or Mastercard, and the total shown in the cart is final. How soon a balloon or bouquet arrives is shown in its own card; the delivery page sets out the rest.
Balloons pair naturally with gifts to go with bouquets, and for a colour to sit them beside, roses come in the shades that match.
