Gold bouquets in Dublin: latex or foil balloons, chrysanthemums or fir
Gold bouquets in Dublin fill their grid with more balloons than flowers. An untreated latex balloon floats for about half a day, while a foil one holds helium for several days, so picking latex or foil also means picking how long the gift stays up.
Latex or foil: how long a gold balloon stays up
Latex is porous, so helium seeps out and an untreated balloon sags within half a day, sooner in a warm room. Foil holds the gas far longer, often several days or more.
The Helium Latex Balloon Happy Birthday! comes in gold, black and white balloons and sits at the shorter end of that span. The Foil Balloon Gold Number and the Foil Balloon "Happy Birthday!" Black & Gold last longer. The set also includes the Balloon Cloud in White and Gold Tones and the Balloon Fountain "Black Gold". Any of them can join a bouquet in the basket.
Gold with flowers: chrysanthemums and noble fir
Two entries are plants: the 7 Curling Bunny Chrysanthemums in Gold and the Golden Box with Nobilis. Nobilis is the noble fir, known for holding its needles longer than most fir varieties, and its stiff branches are why florists use it in wreaths and garlands.
Every bouquet is put together to order, and the florist photographs it before the courier leaves, so that photo is the moment to ask for a change.
Balloons, sweets and a card can all join the bouquet at checkout. See gifts to go with a bouquet, browse New Year compositions, or check the delivery page.
