Number balloons: the element everything else is built around
A number differs from other figures because it states a fact. An age, an anniversary, a graduating year all register instantly, and whatever surrounds a number becomes a frame rather than a display in its own right.
The order of work follows. Choose the numbers and their size first, then the palette of round balloons, and only then any additional detail.
Size and placement

Keep the numbers in one colour. Different colours within a single figure split it into separate marks and hurt legibility.

For round numbers gold, silver and black are the usual choices, since they read formally.

The surface of a large number reflects light across facets, so a metallic finish looks darker on it than on a round balloon of the same colour.

Practical notes
Foil numbers hold helium longer than latex balloons and can arrive in advance without losing their look.
Large numbers filled with air rather than helium go on a stand or fix to a wall. That version lasts longer and never drifts away.
A flat shape catches wind badly outdoors. For outdoor decor numbers are fixed rigidly rather than tethered by ribbon.
If a structure crosses Yerevan on the day, agree the timing. Assembly on site takes additional time.
