Same day delivery in Hurghada: how a morning order arrives by evening
In the 1920s florists in Glasgow and Saffron Walden began passing each other's orders by telegram, and every member shop had a telegraphic address of the kind "Interflora Glasgow"; the slogan of those years was "Flowers by Wire". The order travelled and the flowers did not, because a local florist made the bouquet at the other end. Same day delivery in Hurghada still works on that principle: the bouquet is made by a florist in the city itself, so the gap between payment and handover is measured in hours. This section gathers what the florist can make today. The rest of the page explains how such an order runs, which flowers are quickest and what to write so the courier is not kept waiting at the door.
How same day delivery in Hurghada works: made to order after payment
Every bouquet at JFLOO is made to order, and the flowers for it are bought after payment. The manager checks the address and the flowers straight after the order is paid and confirms the time. Most orders are delivered on the day they are placed, and the earlier the order comes in, the more time slots are still open on that day.
"Today" and "express" are two different requests. Today means delivery within the day in a slot chosen at checkout. Express is a separate mark for those who need the bouquet as soon as possible, dispatched as soon as the florist confirms that bouquet is in stock.
Orders are taken around the clock, and the form on the site takes about two minutes. Before the courier leaves, the florist photographs the finished bouquet and sends the picture, so a different ribbon or shade can be changed before dispatch. Two more messages follow, when the bouquet is with the courier and when it has arrived, and a short report lands in the messenger as soon as it is handed over.

The month decides part of the answer, and peonies are the clearest case. At the height of their season they are on the bench, but in other months they come from countries where the season falls at another time of year, and an order for today may not work out. Tulips, lilac and ranunculus keep to their own weeks. When a flower is out of stock, the florist swaps it for one close in colour and price, and the swap is visible in the photo before the courier leaves.
Greenhouse flowers have no such calendar. Roses, chrysanthemums, carnations, alstroemeria, gerberas and lisianthus are grown under glass all year, so roses and mono bouquets of a single flower are in this section in any month. Spray, French and garden roses are the regulars here: on the shelf they come in boxes, cylinders and jute pots, and in armfuls of 33, 51 or 55 stems.
A well-made bouquet copes with the road on its own. The stems are laid in a spiral, each at a slight angle to the last, and they meet at a single binding point. Such a bouquet keeps its shape in the courier's car. Three or four kinds of flower in one designer bouquet take a little longer than a mono bouquet, but they too normally leave the same day.
Hand-tied, box or basket: what will wait for the recipient
For an order today the address, rather than taste, decides the format. A bouquet in paper is right when it is handed over in person and there is a vase at home. When the flowers will wait at a hotel desk or with an office receptionist, the formats that need no vase do better:
- bouquets for a handover in person, straight into water;
- flowers in boxes, where the stems sit in floral foam soaked with water and the arrangement waits several hours on a desk;
- flower baskets, the same foam inside a wicker basket with a liner, easy to carry;
- gifts to go with the flowers, such as cake, balloons or sweets, each with its own clock.
At home a foam arrangement is watered every day in a thin stream over the whole open surface and never tilted. The extras keep their own time. A cream cake, bento cake included, should not stand at room temperature for longer than two hours, so it is delivered for a moment when the recipient is certainly in. A latex helium balloon floats for about half a day and a foil one for several days, so balloons for a morning party are ordered for that morning. A card with a message is free, and balloons, sweets, a soft toy or a vase are added in the cart.

Orders for a chosen date and time are accepted in every zone without restriction. If the bouquet has to arrive at an exact minute, for a toast or the start of a meeting, that is arranged separately with the manager for a small extra charge, named in advance. For a restaurant the timing is agreed with the venue and the courier arrives at the right moment: for dessert, for the toast, for the walk on stage.
The calendar matters too. Valentine's Day, 8 March and Mother's Day bring several times the usual number of orders, the slots on those days are wider than usual and an exact minute is not promised, so holiday flowers are ordered a few days ahead. On an ordinary day the order can be changed until the bouquet has left for the recipient and no later than six hours before delivery. The date, the slot, the address, the recipient and the card message are changed by a message to the manager with the order number.
Delivery zones in Hurghada and what you pay
Delivery to the central districts of Hurghada is free: at checkout that is the zone marked "city centre", or "main area" on resorts and islands. Every other district has a flat rate for its zone: it is picked from a list, the fee is added to the order before payment, and there is nothing to give the courier at the door. An address that is not on the list is checked by the manager, who names the price before payment. The rate covers one address, so several bouquets to different addresses can go into one cart, with delivery counted for each. Zones and timing are on the delivery page.
Payment is by Visa or Mastercard on a secure page, and the cart total is final: bouquet, extras and delivery. Any extra charge, for an address outside the zones, an exact-minute handover or an upgrade to a pricier bouquet, is possible only by agreement with the manager and is paid through a separate link. Cancelling is free while the flowers have not been bought and the bouquet has not been made; once the flowers are bought, the refund is the order minus their cost, and a bouquet already made cannot be cancelled. A quality claim is accepted within 24 hours of delivery with a photo, and the bouquet is replaced or refunded.

Hospitals come first, because they need a call before anything is made. Many clinics do not allow fresh flowers, so the manager checks whether the ward accepts them; if not, the bouquet is handed over at the nurses' station or on discharge. A hotel needs the surname the guest is registered under and, if known, the room number, since the bouquet goes to the room or is left at reception, whichever the hotel allows. An office needs the company name and the floor; where there is access control, the bouquet goes through reception and the sender is told who took it.
A private address is simpler, and the exact address is optional: the recipient's phone number is enough, and the manager finds out discreetly where to deliver without revealing the sender or the occasion. The recipient is not called in advance unless the sender asks for it; the exception is a house or gated area that cannot be entered without a call, and then the courier calls from the door.
If the recipient is not there, the courier waits up to 15 minutes and calls; if there is no answer, the manager contacts the sender. With the sender's consent the bouquet is left with the concierge, at reception or with a neighbour, and the courier reports who took it; the handover can also be moved to another time the same day. A second trip on another day is charged at the zone rate, and if the address or the phone number turns out to be wrong, the bouquet goes back to the florist and a new delivery is agreed.
Ordering flowers for today from another city or country
JFLOO works in 113 cities across 59 countries, and the rules are the same everywhere, while the catalogue, the prices and the florists are local. Same day delivery in Hurghada can be ordered from another country exactly as from the next street: pick a bouquet, give the date, the recipient's address or phone number and your own number for the photo and the report. No account is needed; a name and a phone number are enough.
Those who would rather not browse can message a florist with the occasion and the budget. The manager replies with a few options with photos and prices and, once the choice is agreed, with a link to the same secure payment page. The courier knows only the recipient's name and the address, the sender's contact details are never passed on, and the card can be signed or left anonymous. The delivery report arrives as soon as the bouquet is in the recipient's hands.
The section holds what a florist can make today, and the easiest way in is the occasion. A date on the calendar points to the selections under occasions, a party nobody warned you about to birthday flowers, and the full catalogue by flower and format opens under flowers. If in doubt, message a florist: they pick a bouquet for the occasion and the budget and send a photo and the price before you pay.
