Peony rose baskets in New York: roses alone or with real peonies
Peony rose baskets in New York split by name: only two of the seven, "Perfekte" and "University", name peonies with peony roses, while the rest are named for peony roses alone, as spray, bush or stem-count baskets. Decide first whether you want a real peony: pick "Perfekte" or "University" if so, or choose by presentation if not.
Peony roses, or peonies and peony roses together
A peony rose is a rose, most often an English David Austin variety or similar; it is not a peony. Five baskets name roses only: Basket of Peony Roses, Basket of Spray Peony Roses, Premium Basket of Peony Bush Roses, 65 Peony Spray Roses in a Basket and Basket of 101 Peony Roses. Only "Perfekte" and "University" add real peonies.
Wicker does not hold water, so baskets are lined with a waterproof liner and stems stand in damp floral foam; no vase is needed. When a basket mixes flower types, it ages as one piece, and the shortest-lived flower sets the arrangement's life.
Water the foam daily with a thin stream over its whole surface, without tilting the basket. Keep it away from radiators, direct sun and ripe fruit.
Each basket is put together to order, with a courier's photo sent before delivery so changes can be made. Delivery time shows in the basket's own card; see delivery. For a real peony alone, see peonies; the full range of flower baskets covers more styles.
