New Year Bouquets in Okurcalar

New Year bouquets in Okurcalar: Danish noble fir, pine and roses

The nobilis in the New Year Tree from Danish Nobilis Branches and the Red Box with Nobilis is noble fir: Abies procera, native to the Cascades of Washington and Oregon. Its branches reached Danish Christmas markets after 1945, and Denmark is now Europe's largest grower of the tree. New year bouquets in Okurcalar split along that line: more conifer or more flowers, and that ratio decides how long the gift lasts.

Noble fir or roses: what lasts through the holidays

Noble fir holds its needles better than most conifers, and its stiff branches also suit wreaths and garlands. A cut rose lasts about a week in water, sometimes up to ten days. The New Year's Bouquet Pine and Roses suits the days around the celebration itself, while a conifer piece carries on longer. Keep either away from radiators and direct sun; recut rose stems at an angle and change the water every day or two.

Ordering for 25 December, New Year's Eve or 7 January

Some recipients mark 25 December; others treat New Year's Eve as the main winter holiday, with Orthodox Christmas on 7 January. An order for a fixed date and time is accepted in any zone, and booking early leaves more slots to choose from. A photo goes out before the courier leaves, the card is free, and the delivery window is shown on the bouquet's page.
