Flower baskets by size in Helsinki: large lily baskets and their pollen
Flower baskets by size in Helsinki splits into two groups built on one flower: both large baskets in the range are arranged with lilies, Giant Mixed Basket with Lilies and 51 Lilies in a Basket. Lily pollen stains fabric hard to clean, so the anthers are removed once each flower opens. Choosing starts with size, small or large, then where the basket will stand.
The range splits into two subsections, small baskets and large baskets. A basket needs no vase: the stems sit in floral foam soaked with water, ready to stand straight on a table.

The foam is watered every day, a thin stream over its whole exposed surface, and the basket is never tilted. Dried-out foam barely takes water back, so daily watering keeps the arrangement lasting about as long as it would in a vase. Once a lily opens, the anthers are lifted off with tweezers or fingers before pollen falls; fresh pollen already on fabric is lifted with sticky tape, never rubbed. Every part of the lily, including its pollen and the water in the foam, is toxic to cats, so it is not a flower for a home that keeps one.
A photo of the finished basket is sent before the courier leaves, and changes can still be asked for then. For a first look at what is available, all flower baskets is a good place to start.
