Orchids in Los Angeles: a box or a bouquet, and weeks in the vase
Orchids in Los Angeles come either boxed or hand-tied, and only one item, 7 Orchids in a Box, states a stem count. The rest are named by format and number, so the choice starts with box or bouquet, then the address and the person receiving it.
Orchids in a box or a hand-tied bouquet
Boxes and bouquets here are mono bouquets, made from a single flower, part of the wider mono bouquets range. Only 7 Orchids in a Box gives a count; the rest are numbered rather than counted. A name doesn't fix the stems, colour or lining — the photo taken before the courier leaves shows what's inside. A box mixing orchids with other flowers sits in flowers in boxes.
How long cut orchids last once they arrive
A cut orchid lasts two to three weeks in the vase, in the same long-lasting group as chrysanthemums, carnations and alstroemeria. Recut the stem at an angle as soon as it arrives, change the water every day or two, and keep it from radiators, direct sun and ripe fruit, which gives off ethylene. Each bouquet is made to order, and a photo goes out before the courier sets off, with room to adjust it before dispatch.
Most orders reach the recipient the same day they're placed, and the exact window shows on the bouquet's own page. The card message is free and can stay unsigned. Delivery zones and timing are on the delivery page.
