Sunflower Baskets in Manchester

Sunflower baskets in Manchester: what sits under the wicker

Sunflower baskets in Manchester stand on a waterproof liner, since wicker itself holds no water. The foam goes in dry, laid flat on the water and left to sink alone; forced under by hand, it keeps dry pockets that starve the stems. Once soaked, stems drink from damp foam, not a vase, so watering is the only care needed.

Every listing here reads as a bouquet, not a basket, so format only shows in the product photo. Sunflowers carry large heads, so a few stems already look full: Bouquet of 5 Sunflowers counts stems, Sunflower Bouquet "Giga" goes for scale — a guide, not a rule. Missing the right basket? A florist builds one from scratch after a chat message, photo and price sent before payment.

How to keep a sunflower basket fresh

Water the foam daily with a thin stream over its whole open surface, and keep the basket level, not tilted. Watered daily, foam holds flowers about as long as a vase; dried out, it barely takes water back. The arrangement ages as one, its life set by the shortest-lived flower in it. Keep it away from radiators, direct sun and ripe fruit.

For another flower, other flower baskets skip sunflowers, and sunflowers as a mono bouquet drop the basket for a simple wrap. Exact delivery slots show on the product card; see the delivery page for how it works.
