Raksha Bandhan in Mumbai: pink roses in every shade, sent to the door

Raksha Bandhan in Mumbai fills its grid almost entirely with pink roses, from soft blush to deep pink, alongside 101 Blush Pink Roses and 101 Pink Roses in White. With the colour already settled, the choice comes down to shade, stem count and how the bouquet is presented.

Pink roses for Raksha Bandhan, from blush to deep pink

Almost every bouquet here works in shades of pink rather than one flat tone. Designers call this a monochrome colour scheme: it uses tints, tones and shades of a single colour, so a bouquet can move from pale blush to a deep, saturated pink without leaving that colour family. The product names spell out the range: plain Pink Roses sit in the middle, 101 Soft Pink Karolina Roses lean paler, 101 Blush Pink Roses sit at the lightest end, and 101 Pink Roses in White wraps those pink heads in white paper.

For anyone who wants more than one colour, the same grid has a Soft Mix, Mixed Bush Roses and a "Carousel" bouquet. These work on an analogous scheme instead: a few neighbouring colours sit together in one bunch, with pink still leading.

Stem count is built into most of the names, and it runs like a ladder: 15, 17, 19, 21, 25, 31, 33, 55, 71 and 101 roses. That spread makes it easy to match a bouquet to a budget or a size instead of guessing at either.

Presentation varies as well. Some bouquets come wrapped in white paper, as in 101 Pink Roses in White. Others sit in a cylinder, like 17 Pink Roses in a Cylinder, or arrive as roses in a box, such as Floral Box Pink. 25 Tall Pink Roses uses longer stems for a taller shape. In 15 Pink Roses with Eucalyptus and 31 Pink Roses with Eucalyptus, the roses carry the colour and the volume, since a rose is a large, dense flower, while the eucalyptus sprigs fill the gaps between the heads.

Every bouquet is put together to order once payment goes through, not pulled ready-made off a shelf.

Raksha Bandhan flowers delivery in Mumbai when you are far away

Orders are taken around the clock, and filling in the form takes about two minutes. No account is needed, only a name and a phone number. Without a street address, the recipient's phone number is enough for the courier to find them. A bouquet booked for a set date can be sent to any zone in Mumbai. Booking early leaves more delivery slots open nearer the date itself.

Before the courier leaves, a photo of the finished bouquet is sent over, and any change can be asked for at that point. Once the bouquet is handed over, a message confirms it. The card that goes with it is free, and it can carry a message for a brother or a sister, or stay unsigned.

Prices are shown in the local currency, and a card issued elsewhere is simply converted by the cardholder's own bank, with no extra fee added. Deliveries to the centre in Mumbai are free, with times and zones set out in the delivery terms.

Anyone unsure where to start can browse the full range of pink and other roses, look at single-flower mono bouquets of a single flower, or add something from gifts to go with the bouquet.
