Protea in Osaka: the flower Australian growers ship to Japan
Australia's commercial cut-flower trade grows protea alongside banksia, waratah and waxflower, and its main export market is Japan. Protea in Osaka comes as a mono bouquet, sold as a single stem, a mini bunch or a named arrangement.
Mini, single stem or a named protea bouquet
Choose protea one of three ways here: a single stem (Protea Individual), a small bunch (Mini Protea) or a named bouquet such as "Queen". Every bouquet is put together to order, and the florist photographs it before the courier leaves, so there is still time to ask for a change once you see it. If you would rather describe the occasion and a budget, a florist can put together options and send photos with prices before you pay.
Protea delivery and care in the vase
Most orders reach the recipient the same day they are placed; the exact window shows on the bouquet's own page, and the delivery page has the details. Delivery to the centre is free, and so is the card, which can stay unsigned if you want it that way.
In the vase, cut the stems at an angle with a sharp knife, strip any leaves that would sit under water, and change the water every day or two. Keep the bouquet away from radiators, direct sun and ripe fruit.
Start with a single protea stem, or look through the other mono bouquets and designer bouquets for something with more colour.
