Delivery terms in Shanghai

We arrange your bouquet in Shanghai on the day you order and hand it over in person. Delivery in the city centre is free; other districts have a flat rate you see before you pay. Here is everything worth knowing in advance: zones and prices, timing, how the handover works and what we do if nobody is home.

Delivery zones and prices

Central districts are free: at checkout, that is the zone marked “city centre” (for resorts and islands, “main area”). Every other district has a flat rate: pick your zone from the list and the fee is added to the order total, so there is nothing to pay the courier on the spot. Addresses outside the list, such as suburbs, resort villages and neighbouring towns, are quoted individually: send us the address and the manager will confirm the price before you pay.

When we deliver

• Today. Most orders are delivered on the day they are placed. Bouquets are made to order, so right after payment the manager confirms the flowers and the time.
• Express. Need it as soon as possible? Say so at checkout: express delivery takes from 3 hours from confirmation for bouquets the florist has in stock.
• Date and time slot. Choose the day and a convenient slot at checkout. Delivery at an exact minute can be arranged with the manager for a small extra charge.
• At night. Between 11 PM and 7 AM we deliver by prior arrangement, and the price is quoted separately.
• On holidays. Valentine's Day, 8 March and Mother's Day bring several times the usual volume: order early, expect wider slots and no exact-minute promises.

How delivery works

1. Confirmation

   Once you pay, you receive an order confirmation while the manager checks the address and the flowers. If anything needs clarifying, we message you straight away.

2. Arranging and photo

   The florist arranges the bouquet and photographs it before the courier leaves. You get the photo: if you would like something changed, tell us and we fix it before dispatch.

3. On the way

   We let you know when the bouquet is with the courier and when it arrives.

4. Handover

   The courier hands the bouquet over in person, passes on the card and says nothing you did not ask them to.

5. Delivered

   As soon as the bouquet is in the recipient's hands, we message you.

Surprises, anonymity and delivery by phone number

We don't call the recipient in advance unless you ask us to: an unexpected bouquet is half the gift. The exception is a building or gated area that cannot be entered without a call; then the courier calls from the door.

You decide who the sender is. The courier only knows the recipient's name and the address. Sign the card or keep it a mystery: we never pass your details to the recipient.

No address? A phone number is enough. Give us the recipient's number and the manager will discreetly find out where to deliver, without revealing the sender or the occasion unless you want us to.

Special addresses

  Hotels

  Delivered to the room or left at reception, whichever the hotel allows. Tell us the guest's surname as registered and the room number if you know it.

• 

  Offices and business centres

  We need the company name and the floor. Where there is access control, the bouquet goes through reception and we tell you who took it.

• 

  Hospitals and clinics

  We check in advance whether the ward accepts flowers: many clinics do not allow fresh flowers. If so, we arrange a handover at the nurses' station or on discharge.

• 

  Restaurants and events

  We agree the timing with the venue and arrive at the right moment: for dessert, for the toast, for the walk on stage.

• 

  Airports, gated communities, islands

  On request. Send us the address and we will check the route and confirm the price before you pay. At the airport the courier waits at the exit with a name card.

If the recipient is not there

• The courier waits up to 15 minutes and calls the recipient. If there is no answer, the manager contacts you.
• With your consent the bouquet can be left with the concierge, at reception or with a neighbour; the courier tells you who took it.
• The handover can be moved to another time the same day. A second trip on another day is charged at the zone rate.
• If the address or phone number turns out to be wrong, the bouquet goes back to the florist, is kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours, and we agree a new delivery with you.

What we guarantee

• A photo before dispatch, always, for every order.
• No surprise substitutions. If a flower is out of stock, the florist swaps it for one close in colour and value, and you see it in the photo before the courier leaves.
• We put things right. If the bouquet falls short, message us within 24 hours with a photo: we replace it or refund you under the terms on the Guarantees page. Changing or cancelling an order is covered in the order changes and cancellation policy.
