Black roses in Auckland: deep red by count, finish and shade
Search black roses in Auckland and the grid answers with red, some paired with white — 7 to 55 stems, one hand-tied "French" finish. Victorian flower dictionaries read red as passionate love, though no two books agreed, so choice starts with count and finish, and shade gets settled separately.
How to choose the count and finish
The count runs from a small bunch to an armful: 7 Red Roses is the smallest in the grid, Mix of 55 Roses the largest, with 19 Red Roses in between. In 21 Red French Roses, "French" is not a variety but a finishing technique: the florist turns the outer petals back by hand so each head opens wider. One bouquet pairs red with white, worth choosing where that contrast is the point. Every bouquet is made to order, and the flowers are bought once payment clears.
Asking for a darker shade before you pay
A chat message with the occasion and budget gets a reply with photos, options and prices before any payment is taken; a reference photo lets the florist match similar work. In floristry, a black bud can be a preserved rose, dyed in a glycerine solution that replaces the cut stem's sap - not what these red roses are. Before the courier leaves, a photo of the finished bouquet is sent, and an unavailable stem is swapped for one close in shade and price.
A sensible start is roses or mono bouquets for a single-flower count. Timing shows in the bouquet card; everything else about delivery is on the delivery page.
