Compliment bouquets worldwide: which small bouquet lasts longest

Compliment bouquets worldwide range from a handful of alstroemeria to a peony bouquet, and how long each one lasts depends on the flower. Alstroemeria and chrysanthemum stand two to three weeks in a vase, a spray rose lasts about a week, and a peony holds for five to seven days. Choosing a small bouquet starts with asking how long it should keep cheering someone up.

Which small bouquet lasts longest in a vase

In the grid, 13 Mixed Alstroemeria and 5 Pink Chrysanthemums last longest, holding two to three weeks. A chrysanthemum's lower leaves yellow before the flower fades, so strip them off as they go.

A spray rose bouquet lasts about a week, sometimes ten days with fresh water. The Peony Compliment Bouquet is shorter: five to seven days once open, and a tight bud needs a day or two in warm water and daylight to open.

Cut the stems at an angle, change the water every day or two, and keep the vase away from radiators, sun and ripe fruit.

A card with your message is free, and chocolates, a soft toy or a vase can be added at checkout. The florist sends a photo before the courier sets off, and most orders are handed over the same day; the exact slot shows on the bouquet's page.
