White Baskets with delivery worldwide

White baskets worldwide: what white means and which flowers carry it

White baskets worldwide carry a colour that Victorian flower dictionaries read as purity, though no two of those books agreed on one list. In this grid white comes from more than one flower, so the choice starts with which one you want.

The white roses here are sold by stem count, from a hundred stems up to five hundred, so size is the first choice. The 51 Lilies in a Basket option comes with a warning: every part of a lily, including its pollen and vase water, is toxic to cats, so it is not a gift for a home with one. A White Tulips Basket keeps changing after delivery, since a cut tulip grows a centimetre or two a day and bends towards the light. Basket "Snow White" takes its name from its look, and is worth seeing on its own page.

How to look after a white flower basket

A basket stands without a vase, but woven wicker does not hold water, so it is lined with a waterproof liner underneath. Where the flowers sit in floral foam, water it daily across the whole surface and never tilt the basket. Keep it away from radiators, direct sun and ripe fruit, since fruit gives off ethylene as it ripens. A basket ages as a whole, and its life is set by whichever flower fades first.

Each basket is made to order, and a photo goes to the sender before the courier leaves; the delivery slot is shown on the basket's own page, with more on the Delivery page. For anything else in this shape, all flower baskets sit in one place to compare.
