Rose baskets worldwide: pink roses in two sizes and a mixed basket
Two of the three rose baskets worldwide carry pink in their name, 51 Pink Roses in a Basket and 101 Pink Roses in a Basket. Victorian language-of-flowers dictionaries read pink as gentler than red's passion, though no single list ever fixed the meanings. The colour here is already set, so the choice comes down to stem count and whether a second flower joins the roses.
51 or 101 pink roses: choosing the size of the basket
The two pink baskets differ only in stem count, 51 or 101; the names say nothing more, so shade and build stay unlisted. A rose is a mass flower, one bloom per stem, giving the arrangement its weight.
Both totals are odd. In Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and most of the former Soviet Union, an odd number marks a gift for the living, not a memorial. A dozen stays common elsewhere.
The mixed basket adds lilies, and every part of a lily, including pollen and vase water, is toxic to cats. A home with a cat is better served by an all-rose basket.
The shade of pink is easiest to check on the photo sent before the courier leaves. An unavailable flower is swapped for one close in colour and price, visible in that same photo.
A basket needs no vase of its own. Roses last around a week, sometimes closer to ten days; a mixed arrangement ages as one piece, set by whichever flower fades first. A free card comes with every basket, and the delivery slot is shown in its own listing. Roses as bouquets suit a plain bunch, other flower baskets come in other shapes, and delivery details sit on their own page.
