Balloon sets: a finished arrangement instead of assembly
A set solves the part of the job that takes longest when buying balloon by balloon. Palette, proportion and quantity have already been reconciled, leaving only the occasion and the size to decide rather than a hunt for shades that agree with each other.
That reduces the risk of a poor result substantially. Most disappointing decor fails not on the quality of the balloons but because colours and shapes were assembled without a common logic.
What a set usually contains
- Round balloons in several shades of one range, as the base.
- One or two shaped elements acting as the accent.
- Printed or confetti balloons as detail.
- Ribbons and weights, without which nothing holds its shape.
Proportions inside a set matter more than its size. An arrangement with more base than accent looks coherent almost every time.
Ready made sets take additions well. One extra shaped balloon in the same range changes an arrangement without breaking it.
How to choose
Start from the place. A set for a table, for handing over and for decorating a room differ in size and in how they are anchored.
The second guide is the occasion. Sets are usually assembled for specific situations, and that match saves more time than free choice does.
The third question is the recipient's age. Children's sets run brighter and carry themed elements, while adult ones are built on metallics and a restrained range.
Calculate quantity from the room. A set that looks generous on a table barely registers in a large hall.
Check the contents before ordering. Shaped elements and numbers are sometimes listed separately, and an arrangement without them looks different from the photograph.
A ready made set saves decisions rather than money. Decisions are what consume the time when assembling one yourself.
Practical notes
Helium balloons hold their lift for a limited period, which is confirmed when ordering. Foil elements inside a set hold it longer than latex ones.
A weight is not always included. Without one a cluster reaches the ceiling immediately after being handed over.
Transporting a helium set by car takes room. It does not fold, and it occupies its full volume the whole way.
If a set crosses your city on the day, have it arrive close to the start.
JFLOO includes balloon sets in its selections by shape. Choose by place and occasion. Inside a set the proportions have already been settled.
