Foil balloons worldwide: words, shapes and how long they stay up
The grid sells several "Happy Birthday!" foil balloons worldwide in different designs — Beauty!, Black & Gold, Splashes, Hero Theme — next to wordless Star, Heart and Unicorn shapes, so the choice starts with whether the balloon should speak for the sender. The next question is how long it needs to last and what it will travel with.
How long a foil balloon stays up compared with latex
An untreated latex balloon stays afloat for around half a day. Latex is porous, so helium slips through it steadily, and warm weather speeds the loss further. A treatment applied inside the balloon can slow that leak and stretch a latex balloon's float time to several days.
Foil holds helium far better. A foil balloon commonly stays afloat for several days, sometimes longer, without any extra treatment. That gap between the two materials is the reason a foil shape simply outlasts an untreated latex one.
If the occasion falls the next day, or the balloon needs to stand through a longer stretch of days, foil is the safer choice.
A balloon with lettering speaks for the sender before anyone reads the card. For a birthday, the grid holds several designs: "Happy Birthday, Beauty!", "Happy Birthday" in Black & Gold, "Happy Birthday" Splashes and the Hero Theme version.
For a mother, two balloons carry the message directly: "I Love You, Mom" and "To My Beloved Mom". Mother's Day itself moves around the calendar — the second Sunday of May in the United States and Germany, Mothering Sunday in the UK on the fourth Sunday of Lent, and the last Sunday of November in Russia. The date depends on the recipient's country, so it needs checking before ordering.
For a partner, the wording narrows to "I Love You", "I Love You, Kitty" and "Yours, With Love"; a bouquet from flowers for loved ones pairs naturally with any of them.
Star, Heart, Unicorn and "Shine!" carry no words at all, which suits an order where the message goes on the card instead. A card with a text of your choice comes free with any order.
Foil balloon delivery worldwide with a bouquet
A foil balloon goes into the same basket as a bouquet, rather than travelling on its own. The florist photographs the finished bouquet before the courier leaves, though that photo shows the flowers rather than the balloon.
The recipient hears nothing in advance unless the sender asks for a call. The courier works from a name and an address alone, and the card can stay unsigned if the sender wants the gift to stay anonymous.
A single basket can hold orders for several addresses at once, and each address is charged for delivery separately. Most orders reach the recipient on the day they're placed, and the exact timing for a given bouquet shows on its own page, next to the delivery page.
Payment runs through Visa or Mastercard, and the total shown in the basket is final.
Choosing a foil balloon is easiest once a bouquet is already picked. Starting with roses or with the gifts to go with bouquets list narrows the balloon down to whatever fits the card and the address.
