Photo sessions worldwide: choosing a bouquet that works on camera
The photo sessions worldwide grid includes White Tulip Bouquet "Monica," and a cut tulip keeps growing, about one to two centimetres a day, leaning towards the light. That shift in silhouette, within a day or two, means a bouquet for a shoot is worth judging by how it behaves on the day, not only by its photo.
Which bouquets the grid offers for a photo shoot
None of these listings is a photography service: the grid sells bouquets only, not a photographer, studio or session voucher.
Some names point straight at the flower, among them Spray Chrysanthemum Bouquet, White Tulip Bouquet "Monica," Peony "Blue Logan" Bouquet and Chrysanthemum Bouquet No. 2. Others carry a name instead, such as Cleopatra 3 Bouquet, Bouquet "Vincent," Boom Bouquet No. 1, Lotus Bouquet and "Kilian" Bouquet. If the flower itself matters, start with a listing named after it, not a named one. Each bouquet is made to order, with flowers bought once payment clears.
A tulip does not stop growing once cut, lengthening by roughly one to two centimetres a day and bending towards the light. White Tulip Bouquet "Monica" can therefore look different a day or two after arrival than it did straight out of the wrapping.
A peony behaves the opposite way: cut at the marshmallow stage, its bud is coloured, closed and soft to the touch, opening over twenty-four to forty-eight hours in warm water and daylight. A hard, marble-like bud may not open indoors at all, so a peony wanted open for the camera needs that window built into the order, lasting five to seven days once open.
Chrysanthemums are a greenhouse flower, sold all year round, standing two to three weeks against roughly a week for a rose. The same basic care applies between arrival and the shoot: cut stems at an angle, change the water every day or two, and keep the bouquet away from sunlight, radiators and fruit.
The practical point is to pick the delivery day by the shape the flower needs to be in on camera, not simply by the date of the shoot.
Choosing a palette: one colour or contrast
A monochrome palette stays within tints and shades of one colour, keeping a frame calm. An analogous scheme takes neighbouring colours around one lead colour, adding depth without much contrast. A complementary scheme pairs two opposite colours for the strongest contrast a bouquet can offer.
Which suits a shoot depends on the outfit and the background more than on the flower itself. A busy backdrop calls for a calmer, monochrome bouquet, while a plain one suits a complementary look such as designer bouquets.
Bouquet delivery for a photo shoot worldwide
Orders for a set date and time are taken for any zone, and booking earlier leaves more slots open. Before the courier leaves, a photo of the bouquet is sent over, with changes possible before dispatch.
If a flower is unavailable, the florist substitutes it with one close in colour and price, visible in that same photo. A reference picture sent in chat brings back photos of similar bouquets already made, with prices, before the order is placed.
Payment is by Visa or Mastercard, the cart total is final, and full conditions are on the delivery terms page.
A bouquet that needs to open fully on camera starts with peonies. One that needs to hold a single colour starts with mono bouquets, with delivery conditions set out on the terms page linked above.
