35 roses worldwide: Dutch, Kenyan or French, and how they arrive
35 roses worldwide appear in two versions side by side: Dutch roses, greenhouse classics, and Kenyan roses from farms around Lake Naivasha. The stem count is fixed at thirty-five, so the choice comes down to origin, colour and wrap.
Dutch, Kenyan or French: where the 35 stems come from
Dutch roses come from greenhouses growing classic varieties. Kenyan roses are field-grown around Lake Naivasha, at about 1,880 metres. Their stems usually run shorter than Ecuador's. French is neither a country nor a variety: it's a technique, bending the outer petals back by hand until the rose opens wider. The grid names that work: 35 French Roses in a Box, 35 Mixed French Roses in Jute Box.
Ribbon, box or cylinder: how 35 roses arrive
Colour and wrap already show in the names:
- 35 Red Roses with Ribbon
- 35 Pink or White Roses in a Cylinder
- 35 White Roses in a "Heart" Box
- Bouquet of 35 Red and White Roses
Every bouquet is assembled once the order comes in. Before the courier leaves, a florist sends a photo, so there's still time to ask for a change. The card that comes with it is free and can stay unsigned.
The full range sits in every rose bouquet in the shop, and boxed stems are part of flowers in boxes. Delivery worldwide is free to the centre, and the time slot shows on the bouquet's page; more detail is on the delivery page.
