Birthday balloons worldwide: one balloon, a bunch or a gift with flowers
Birthday balloons worldwide sit in the grid next to ready-made bunches: Helium Balloons "Happy Birthday" Assorted, the "Happy Birthday" Balloon Set and Assorted Helium Balloons "Happy Birthday" 2 join the single latex balloons. The choice starts with how many balloons the day needs, then the material, then what the balloon travels with.
One birthday balloon or a ready-made bunch
Single latex balloons come in a matte or a macaron finish, a crown design in black and transparent, or a mix of gold, black and white. Foil balloons form their own line, each with a printed design: Black & Gold, Splashes, Hero Theme and "Happy Birthday, Beauty!".
Anyone who wants balloons as the gift itself can pick from three ready-made bunches: Helium Balloons "Happy Birthday" Assorted, the "Happy Birthday" Balloon Set and Assorted Helium Balloons "Happy Birthday" 2. A single balloon suits an addition to something else; a bunch stands on its own.
Latex is porous, and helium slips through its walls over time: an untreated latex balloon usually stays afloat for around half a day, less in the heat. A foil balloon holds its helium far longer, generally for several days.
A polymer coating applied inside a latex balloon, known as Hi-Float, can stretch its time in the air to several days too, though that describes the material in general rather than any particular balloon here. For a party happening the same evening, a latex balloon is enough. For one that needs to still be up in a few days' time, foil is the safer choice.
Adding a balloon to birthday flowers or a cake
A balloon does not have to travel alone. It can go into the basket together with a bouquet, sweets, a soft toy or a vase, and a card with a written message is free.
One item pairs a balloon with dessert directly: the Bento Cake with "Happy Birthday" Balloon. A bento cake is a palm-sized cake in a takeaway box, a format that started in South Korea and takes its name from the Japanese lunch boxes it resembles; the icing usually carries a short message rather than a long one. Flowers to send alongside a balloon are usually a bouquet, tied and wrapped in paper.
Birthday balloons delivery worldwide: how the order works
Delivery works on the same terms as any order on the site: most orders are handed over the day they are placed, and the exact timing for a given item is shown on its product card, with more detail on the delivery page.
The recipient is not called ahead of time unless the sender asks for it, and the courier works from a name and an address alone. The card can be left unsigned. Where there is no fixed address, a phone number is enough to arrange the handover, and no account is needed beyond a name and a number.
Payment is by Visa or Mastercard, and the total shown in the basket is final, with nothing extra paid to the courier. Delivery to the centre worldwide costs nothing.
For a first order, gifts to go with bouquets is a natural place to start, since a balloon sits there as an addition to flowers. Anyone choosing flowers first might look at flowers in a box instead, another format the same balloon can go with.
