Family Day worldwide: flowers for a whole household, lilies to baskets

Family Day worldwide flowers include lilies in three formats on the grid: 15 Lilies, 51 Lilies in a Basket and a Giant Mixed Basket with Lilies. Every part of a lily, including its pollen and the water left in the vase, is toxic to cats. The gift is meant for the whole household, not one person, so buyers look first at who lives there and then pick a format.

Family Day flowers: a bouquet for the whole household

The grid mixes several lines: lilies, lavender spray roses and peony-style roses, Jumilia, dianthus (the carnation-style pick sold as 15 Dianthus), mixed alstroemeria, gerbera and hydrangea. A household gift benefits from that range, since it is meant for a room rather than a single vase on one desk.

Format follows the same logic. A hand-tied bouquet suits a table that already has a vase, while a box holds a rose mix such as the 25 Mixed Roses in a Box. A basket works up to a giant size when the room is large. A basket stands without a vase: its stems sit in floral foam kept damp, and the foam is watered daily in a thin stream over the whole open surface, never tilted to one side.

Every bouquet is put together to order, and a photo of the finished piece goes to the sender before the courier leaves, so a colour or a flower can still be swapped on request.

A household with a cat is the case where lilies are best left off the list, since every part of the plant is toxic to it. Lavender spray roses, Jumilia or the Blue Field bouquet make an easy substitute where the room includes a pet.

Lily pollen is the other detail worth knowing. It leaves a stain on fabric that is hard to lift, so once a lily opens, the anthers are usually removed before the flower is given. Fresh pollen on clothing comes off with sticky tape rather than a rub.

Vase life also varies by flower. Dianthus and alstroemeria last two to three weeks in water, while a rose keeps closer to a week. Whatever the bouquet, the stems want a fresh angled cut, water changed every day or two, and a spot away from radiators, direct sun and fruit bowls.

Sending Family Day flowers to several addresses

One order can cover more than one address: a basket can carry several bouquets bound for different doors, parents at one and a grandparent at another. Delivery is worked out separately for each address. The courier hands the flowers over in person, with a card that comes free with the order and can be signed or left blank.

A date and a time slot can be booked for any zone, and booking early leaves more slots to choose from. The exact window shows on the bouquet's own page, alongside delivery details. An address is not required either: the recipient's phone number is enough to arrange the handover, and sweets or balloons can be added from the site's own basket of extras.

For a first look, mixed bouquets cover most of the household range in one place, flower baskets suit a room without a vase of its own, and sweets or a balloon from gifts to go with bouquets round the order off.
