9 peonies worldwide: Paeon's flower as a single nine-stem bouquet
9 peonies worldwide take their name from Paeon, physician to the gods in Greek myth. In this grid, only 9 Peonies with Eucalyptus counts exactly nine stems, and the other items step up in scale and presentation.
Nine stems, or a bigger peony gift
Alongside the nine-stem bouquet sit 29 Peonies and 29 Peonies in Basket, plus 49 Peonies in a Kraft Box. The difference between them is scale and presentation rather than the flower itself: a hand-tied bouquet, a basket or a kraft-wrapped box built to carry more stems.
A nine-stem gift without eucalyptus, or tied in a different way, can be described to a florist in a chat message. The florist puts the bouquet together to that idea and sends a photo with the price before payment, and the flowers themselves are bought only once the order is placed and paid.
Keeping nine peonies opening in the vase
With basic care, cut peonies open fully and last five to seven days in the vase. Water needs changing every day, and each time it helps to give the stems a fresh angled cut with a sharp knife.
Keep the vase somewhere cool, away from direct sun, radiators and ripe fruit, all of which speed up wilting. Before the courier sets off, a photo of the finished bouquet goes to the sender, and anything that needs changing is fixed before the courier leaves.
For more stems than nine, all peonies lists the larger bouquets, and a container that stands on its own without a vase is worth a look among flower baskets. How soon a bouquet can go out is shown on its own page, alongside the details on delivery.
