120 cm worldwide: roses from the top of the stem-length scale
120 cm worldwide roses sit at the top end of the trade's stem-length scale, which runs from about seventy centimetres to a metre and more. At that length, colour is easier to judge from the bouquet name and photo than from the stem alone.
Choosing a rose with a 120 cm stem
The grid names only one colour, in Dutch White Roses "Rybka". For the other roses, the shade is worth checking against the bouquet photo the florist sends before the courier leaves, since a name alone does not fix it.
Flowers are bought for the order after payment. If a stem is out of reach on the day, the florist substitutes one close in shade and price, and that swap shows on the same photo, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
In a vase a rose this length lasts around a week, sometimes closer to ten days. Cut the stem at an angle with a sharp knife as soon as it arrives, strip any leaves that would sit under water, and change the water every day or two. Keep the vase away from radiators, direct sun and a bowl of ripe fruit.
Compare a 120 cm stem against the shorter end in all roses, or look at single-flower arrangements in mono bouquets; the delivery slot for any of them shows in the bouquet's own card, with details on the delivery page.
