Peonies by color worldwide: a shade that shifts as the flower opens
By color worldwide means picking a shade that keeps moving: Coral Charm, registered by Wissing in 1964, opens coral-cherry, drifts through orange tones and settles into pinkish cream. A peony's colour is a stage rather than a fixed fact, so it helps to choose the shade with that later opening already in mind.
White, pink, red or coral: picking the shade
The range splits into five colours: white peonies, red, pink, coral peonies and a mixed section for anyone who wants more than one shade in the same bouquet. White comes in several stem counts rather than one fixed size, from 9 Snow-White Peonies up to 35 White Peonies and 51 White Peony, with no two bouquets named the same way. Dutch cut peonies lean heavily on Sarah Bernhardt, a dark pink cultivar with a paler edge that Lemoine registered in 1906, though the trade often confuses it with similar pink varieties, so a pink bouquet here is not necessarily that cultivar. Before a courier leaves, the florist photographs the finished bouquet, and the shade is visible in that photo. If a particular flower is not in stock, it is replaced with one close in shade and price, and the swap shows in the same picture.
Peonies turn up across most of the year without covering all of it: European stems run from late April into June, Chilean stems from October to December. Where the season matters more than the exact shade, the full peony range is the wider place to start; where the colour is already decided, the subsections above are the quicker route.
