A tight round dome, a long asymmetric line, a loose build with stems breaking the outline: these are questions of technique, and technique is available every day of the week. Proportion copies just as well. Stem length, overall diameter, the ratio of large heads to small filler, how much foliage shows, the colour and the manner of the wrapping. The rose in your picture may be one nobody is importing this season, or one that arrived in a single shipment a year ago and has not appeared since. Peonies are cut for a few months of the year, and no amount of planning moves those dates. Colour drifts inside a single named variety as well. Growing temperature and the age of the crop shift the tone by half a step, so two bouquets of the identical rose photographed in different months do not match each other. #### What this city actually receives Almost everything here arrives by air, which makes the supply calendar the real constraint rather than the florist's skill. Dutch roses come in at 60 to 90 cm and Ecuadorian roses run up to 120 cm, so length is rarely a problem. Dutch peonies appear outside their local season, which surprises people who assume the opposite. Tulips and chrysanthemums come from greenhouses in the UAE, and that is the one part of the list not tied to a flight. So substitution is built into this service rather than being a failure of it. A rose becomes another rose in the same tone, one textural green stands in for another, and the finished bouquet reads the way your picture reads even when the variety list differs. Order two days ahead where you can. That gives us time to buy the specific variety on the next delivery instead of working from whatever is already in the cooler, and it is the single thing that most improves the match. #### Timing and handover Same day works too. Delivery takes 2 to 4 hours across Downtown, Marina, JBR, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah and DIFC, and the workshop is open 9 AM to 10 PM. Summer adds one more variable. Air reaches 40 °C with humidity along the coast, so a bouquet built to a photograph is assembled close to departure, packed with insulation and kept out of direct sun for the walk between the car and the door. Wrapping copies as reliably as shape does, with one exception. Glossy film from a reference picture gets swapped for matt paper in the hottest months, because condensation collects on the inside of it. Ask for a photo of the finished bouquet before the courier leaves. While it is still on the bench we can add volume, change the paper or move the focal flower, and once the van has gone none of that is possible. Send a wide shot rather than a close-up of the heads, because a close-up hides scale completely and fifteen roses can easily look like fifty.
