#### What to settle when the order goes in
- Who is receiving it, because that decides whether the arrangement needs a word of explanation alongside it. - The wall behind it. A plain pale wall makes the shape read, a room full of plants swallows it. - The size, since green buys presence through volume rather than through colour. - The address and the hour. Downtown, Marina, JBR, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah and DIFC all fall inside a 2 to 4 hour window, and office deliveries are easiest before lunch, while there is someone at the desk to take the box. Volume is where most green orders come in under specified. A green arrangement at the same price as a coloured one looks smaller, because the eye measures it by contrast rather than by mass, so it is worth going one size up when it has to hold a reception desk. Offices suit this category for a plainer reason too. Nobody in a meeting room waters anything, and an arrangement built mostly of foliage survives a weekend that a bunch of roses would not. We work 9 AM to 10 PM, orders start from 250 AED, and payment goes through Apple Pay or cash to the courier. In summer at 40 °C with high coastal humidity the box gets insulated packing and stays out of direct sun. Greenhouse chrysanthemums from the UAE with green centres carry the flowering part. Dutch roses at 60 to 90 cm in the cooler cultivars sit better here than white ones, which look bleached against foliage, and Ecuadorian stems up to 120 cm go in when the arrangement has to work on height rather than width.

Green bouquets in Dubai suit an office opening, a new desk, a senior colleague or a doctor, and they suit a room with a plain wall better than a room with a garden view. Say who opens the box and what stands behind it, and the arrangement gets built for that wall rather than for a photograph taken in a workshop.
