Hot deals in Dubai: when a deal is the wrong tool

Fixed requirements and rotating stock pull against each other. A discounted listing exists because a specific quantity of specific stems needs to move this week, which is a poor foundation for anything that has to match something else exactly. The mismatch is worth naming before it costs somebody a morning.

A wedding palette belongs in the main catalogue. So does a corporate colour, a table plan that has to repeat across a room, and a variety somebody has loved for years and would notice the absence of instantly. Order those with time in hand and treat the price difference as the cost of certainty. Nobody regrets that trade on the day.

There is a second case, and it is the less obvious one. Anything that has to be ordered several days ahead sits badly here, because the listing you are looking at today will not be there when the date arrives. A birthday booked a week out, flowers timed to a flight landing, any promise made in advance about a particular flower: all of that belongs in the main catalogue, where a florist can actually commit to it.

An office in DIFC or Business Bay only works inside the business day, and a bouquet from this section arriving late in the day waits on an empty floor until morning.

What sits in the section is ordinary city stock: Dutch roses at 60-90 cm, Ecuadorian roses up to 120 cm, greenhouse tulips and chrysanthemums from the UAE, and Dutch peonies when they come in outside their own season. The prices move, the flowers do not.
