There is blue in it and there is pink, and whichever of the two the surrounding flowers agree with comes forward while the other one disappears. The same stems can look cool and silvery in one box and frankly pink in the next. So two questions decide this order. What else goes into the bunch, and which address it is going to. White and cream do the least damage. Put a lilac cluster beside a cream head and the lilac holds on to its blue side, so the bunch reads as smoke. The pale flower picks up a faint cool cast in return. The pair looks like a decision somebody made, which is the whole reason for putting the two side by side. Cream is the safe answer. Deep burgundy is the stronger partner of the two. It is dark enough not to compete for attention and it shares the red end of the spectrum, so nothing in the bunch argues with anything else.
