Roses delivered in Dubai: varieties, packaging, and farm-fresh freshness
Roses stay the most-requested flower in any international city — and Dubai is no exception. Behind the familiar shape and subtle scent sits real floristry work: matching the variety to the occasion, controlling freshness from plantation to recipient, and packaging that survives the local climate.
This category covers single-variety bouquets, mixed compositions, and individual stems for a no-occasion gift. It also includes hat boxes, baskets, and large bunches of 25, 51, and 101 stems — a format that often matters as much as the variety itself.
Which varieties to choose
We keep three key groups in stock: large-headed Ecuadorian roses, classic Dutch roses, and English garden roses by David Austin. Each solves its own task — from a statement gift to a quiet romantic gesture.
- Freedom, Explorer, Mondial — the Ecuadorian flagships. Long 70–90 cm stems, dense buds, vase life of 10–14 days with proper care.
- Avalanche+, Red Naomi, Vendela — Dutch classics. Medium 5–7 cm buds, rich palette, the reliable workhorse choice.
- Patience, Juliet, Constance — David Austin English roses. Cupped form, subtle fragrance, ideal for bridal bouquets.
- Spray roses — multiple blooms on a single stem, for airy compositions and smaller gifts.
Occasions and stem count
One stem is a soft note of attention. Three is a friendly thank-you. Seven and nine are a romantic gift. Twenty-five reads as a serious declaration. Fifty-one and 101 mark anniversaries, engagements, milestone birthdays.
In the warm climate of Dubai the format matters. A kraft-wrapped bouquet handles afternoon sun better than an open basket. For longer transit we add a hydrobox so stems stay in water until the moment of delivery.
Freshness and logistics
Ecuadorian roses arrive by air from plantations at 2,800 metres above sea level — at altitude the plant grows slowly and builds a tight, heavy bud. From cut to customer the chain runs 6–8 days, and the bouquet still lives 10–14 days in the vase.
Every batch is checked at the half-open bud stage: the "marshmallow" feel — soft to the touch but already coloured. This is the sweet spot between transport firmness and full opening for the recipient.

Delivery specifics in Dubai
Summer in Dubai means +40…+45 °C in the day and up to +35 °C at night from June through September. Cut flowers lose vitality from overheating in minutes. During this period we move bouquets only in refrigerated vehicles, deliver in early morning or late evening windows (before 10:00 and after 19:00), and pack compositions in heavy kraft with a thermal liner.
Winter in Dubai is mild (+20…+27 °C, November–March) and ideal for delicate varieties: garden roses, tulips, ranunculus. Prices drop, the range widens, and delivery works any time of day.
We cover all districts: Downtown, Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay, Jumeirah, DIFC, Arabian Ranches, Al Barsha. Catalogue prices are in dirhams (AED), payment by card or cash on receipt. During local holidays (Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, UAE National Day on 2 December) and Ramadan we run a special schedule — place orders 2–3 days ahead.
Care at home
After delivery, recut the stems at a 45° angle, strip leaves below the water line, place in a clean vase with cool water. Change the water every two days, add Chrysal or a pinch of sugar. Keep away from radiators, direct sun, and ripe fruit — ethylene cuts vase life by a third.
On hot Dubai days move the bouquet to the coolest room overnight, or to the fridge if room temperature exceeds 25 °C. This pause in the plant's metabolism adds 3–5 days to the bouquet without any chemical additives.
