### A bouquet from your photo in Phuket: the colour on your screen is not the colour in the bucket Most disappointments with this service have nothing to do with the florist's hands. Photographs lie about colour. A warm filter turns pale pink into peach, an evening kitchen light pushes cream towards yellow, and a phone with the brightness turned down renders dusty mauve as grey. Two people looking at the same saved image are often describing two different bouquets, and neither of them knows it yet. Beige, blush, champagne, dusty pink and terracotta suffer worst, because they sit close together and shift under any light. The fix takes a minute. Say the colour in words alongside the picture. Describe it against something ordinary that does not move: milky white, the pink inside a seashell, the rust of a terracotta pot, deep wine rather than bright red. If the image came off social media and has been through a filter, mention that as well, because a florist who knows the picture is edited will ask what you actually want instead of matching what they see on the screen. Four things that settle an order of this kind: - A wide shot of the whole bouquet, not a close-up of the heads. - The colour described in words as well as shown. - The size as a stem count or a diameter. - Which part of the image matters most, since a build led by shape, one led by a colour pairing and one led by a single flower are three different jobs with three different price tags. #### What the island has to work with Thai orchids, imported roses, chrysanthemums and hydrangeas cover most palettes, with tropical foliage doing the textural work that a temperate photograph usually gives to something else. Seasonal peonies come and go with their own calendar. A picture saved in another climate often rests on material that does not arrive here. We take those images apart by role instead of by name: what gives the shape, what gives the colour, what gives the texture, and each role gets its own substitute. The result is not a copy, and it is usually the bouquet the customer had in mind. Humidity changes the wrapping too. Air sits between 25 and 33 °C with high moisture, so a glossy film from the reference picture is often replaced with firm kraft or a box, since paper softens here faster than anyone expects. #### Getting it there Order two days ahead where possible, because that lets us buy the specific variety on the next delivery rather than assembling from whatever is already in the cooler. Same day is fine too. Delivery along the west coast takes 90 to 180 minutes and covers Patong, Kata, Karon, Kamala, Surin and Bang Tao, with Phuket Town, Rawai, Chalong and Mai Khao worked out the same way, while villas, marinas and airport routes keep their own windows. We are open 9 AM to 10 PM. From May to October the rain runs to its own schedule and the hill roads slow down in the evening, so we add route time rather than promise the tighter end of the window.
