Heat, rain and the hour it goes out
The island runs at 25 to 33 °C in high humidity, and that sets the dispatch hour more than the distance does. Warm damp air is hard on any bowl and hardest on the blue ones, since most of what reads as blue in a container has been coloured rather than grown that way. We build these closer to dispatch than anything else on the bench. During monsoon showers from May to October we add route time. In the evening hill traffic we add it again.
Morning slots suit this colour best.
Along the west coast we work to 90 to 180 minutes, which covers Patong, Kata, Karon, Kamala, Surin, Bang Tao, Phuket Town, Rawai, Chalong and Mai Khao. Villas, marinas and airport routes have their own windows. The working day is 9 AM to 10 PM.

Imported roses take dye more evenly than anything else here and hold it longest. Thai orchids give height without much weight and keep their edge in a warm room. Chrysanthemums and hydrangeas fill the body of the build, and the white ones are what stop the blue collapsing into a dark patch, because blue standing in shade stops reading as blue at all.
How long it holds depends mostly on where it is set down. Out of direct sun and away from a window, a bowl built this way is still readable at the end of the week. On a sill in island daylight the surface colour goes first, and what is left underneath is a paler flower than the one that was ordered.
