Two gifts arrive in one container, and the second one is food. That is the whole difference from an ordinary flower basket, and almost every problem with the format comes from treating the edible half as decoration.

The questions worth asking
Diabetes, a nut allergy, a fast, a training diet, small children already at their sugar limit for the week: any of these turns half of your present into something the recipient has to be polite about. None of it is visible from an order form. There is a second question that gets asked even less often, and on this island it matters more than the first. Somebody has to be there to receive it. A basket with chocolate cannot sit at a hotel desk all afternoon at 25 to 33 °C, and it certainly cannot wait in a car.
If either answer is uncertain, send flowers on their own. We say the same thing on the phone, and nobody has yet been annoyed by the question.

Deliveries along the west coast sit in a 90 to 180 minute window, with separate windows for villas, marinas and airport routes. We work 9 AM to 10 PM, orders start at 2200 THB, and payment goes by bank card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PromptPay, bank transfer or cash to the courier in baht. The rainy season runs May to October and we add route time for it, as we do for evening traffic on the hill roads. Flowers do not mind that extra hour, since the stems already stand in water. The chocolate does mind it, which is why a sweets basket goes out last and gets handed over first.
Sealed factory packaging survives the ride comfortably. Loose biscuits, meringue and anything cut in a patisserie draw moisture out of humid air and soften before anything else does, so they belong in a box of their own.
Hotels take this delivery the way they take any other. Rosewood Phuket, The Slate Phuket, Trisara, Banyan Tree Phuket and Veranda Resort Phuket accept it at the desk and send it up, though for a sweets basket we ask that the guest be in the room, since a box of chocolate should not spend the afternoon downstairs.
Airport arrivals are the scenario we talk people out of most often. A basket of this weight is awkward to walk through a terminal, and sweets on skewers swing against the petals beside them at every turn.

Take it apart on the first evening. The sweets come out and go where they belong, the foam gets topped up from the rim, and the flowers carry on for their full week with a few empty holes where the skewers were.
