The range has two sizes, nine roses and nineteen, both set in a velvet hat box. Nine come in red, powder pink or white; nineteen come only in red or powder pink, so anyone wanting nineteen white stems takes the nine instead. Each is a real rose, cut at the moment it opened, with its sap replaced by a glycerine-based solution; the petal stays soft rather than brittle, and the flower stays exactly as it looked when cut.
Keeping forever roses in a hat box
Keep the box indoors and out of direct sun, since sunlight fades the dye over time. The rose needs no water and no spray, so it should sit away from splashes, damp rooms and heat sources. Dust is best lifted with a soft, dry brush or a can of compressed air, never wiped with a cloth.
