1 metre roses in Bali: order this length ahead
Tall grades do not sit waiting on a shelf. A florist holding them has bought them for a particular week, and when the box lands the colours inside it are whatever the farm sent rather than whatever was requested. That is the single fact that shapes how this length gets ordered.
Red is the reliable one.
The softer shades are not always cut in the tall grade at the same time, so a request for a specific colour at a metre is a different conversation from the same request at fifty centimetres. If the shade matters more than the height, say so at the start and we will offer a shorter stem in the colour you wanted. If the height matters more, expect the full metre in something close.

There is no way to shortcut this. Length is grown, not added afterwards, and the long grades come off plants raised cool and slowly, which is why a metre stem carries a head you can read across a room and why the plant gives fewer of them in a year.
Lead time in practice
Two or three days is comfortable for a metre. A week is comfortable for a metre in a particular colour, and anything shorter than a day means taking what is already in the workshop, which at this grade is a smaller choice than customers expect.
Every rose here is imported, and the tall grades come out of the box in the worst condition of any of them. So we hold them in deep buckets from the moment they land and build them last, right before the courier leaves.
The address is the other half of the order
Seminyak, Canggu and Sanur sit inside a 90 to 150 minute window and a metre of stem handles that comfortably. Uluwatu, Tabanan and villas off the main roads run to 3 to 4 hours, and at that distance the build changes rather than the price. Buds go out tighter, the wrapping goes on firmer, and the slot moves to the morning.
Wedding venues at Jimbaran are the exception worth planning around properly. Flowers there compete with an open horizon, a metre reads at that scale where a shorter grade does not, and the date is fixed months before anybody thinks about ordering. Tell us the date early and the colour question stops being a lottery.
For ocean villa deliveries we ask about steps and gateways before the build, since a tall cone that has to be turned sideways at a narrow entrance loses its outer heads doing it.
The workshop runs from 9 AM to 10 PM, and long grades go out at the start of the day wherever the address allows it.
Mixed colours are the request that needs the most notice of all. Two shades at a metre only work if both were cut in the tall grade in the same week, and the eye travels up the stems and lands on the whole dome at once, so an uneven spread reads as a patch instead of a pattern. When only one of the two shades has arrived tall, we say so and offer a single colour rather than a compromise that will be visible in every photograph taken that evening.
What arrives
A metre bouquet holds fewer stems than most customers picture and takes up more of the room than the count suggests. The space left between the blooms is deliberate, and packing it out with filler would cost the bunch the very thing the length was bought for.
