A slot, not a time
Timing works as a window. A build on site takes as long as it takes, and a courier standing with five hundred stems while a phone rings out is losing flower life by the minute.
A surprise is difficult to keep at this scale. Somebody at the destination usually has to know, if only to clear a corner and hold a gate. The surprise then survives for the person it was meant for.
The date is easier to fix than the hour. A venue is booked for a whole day, but the corner where the piece will stand is often free for only part of it, and the build has to fit inside that gap.

The last stretch decides how many people are needed. A villa gate, a garden path and steps up to a terrace turn a two-person delivery into a slow one. There the floor is level from the vehicle to the spot, and the same order takes half the time to put down.
