### Corporate gifts in Bali: booked early, driven twice The season for this category sits inside the rainy months from November to March, and that shapes the schedule more than anything on the order form. We add route time for the weather, we keep the boxes closed until the courier is under cover, and above 30 °C in high humidity the run goes out with firm wrapping and a cooling element. Distance does the rest. Seminyak, Canggu and Sanur sit in a 90 to 150 minute window, while Uluwatu, Tabanan and remote villas take up to 3 to 4 hours, so any list with addresses in both is really two rounds on two different days. Deciding that at the list stage costs nothing. Discovering it on the delivery morning costs the last third of the batch. Matching quantities of one variety in one shade are reserved with the grower in advance, and in December the difference is stark, because the last week of the month leaves whatever nobody else booked. A week of notice is the floor for twenty pieces. A hundred needs longer than that. The delivery date moves earlier too. Addresses empty before the final working day, and a box that arrives on the Thursday evening sits somewhere closed until January. Sent two or three days early, the same gift is received by the person it was meant for. Three dates worth fixing in one conversation: - The day the specification stops changing. - The day the near addresses go out. - The day the far ones do. Everything else in the order can move. Those three cannot, and a batch planned around them rarely goes wrong for any reason other than a locked gate. #### What to keep for next year Most of this repeats annually, which makes the record more valuable than the order itself. Keep the list with its notes about refused entry and changed addresses. Keep the specification, so the same thing does not have to be reassembled from memory. Keep what people actually did with last year's gift once they had it: what went home the same evening, what was still standing in a room in March. A year later the list gets edited rather than written again, and the second batch is easier than the first by exactly as much as the first one was written down. Uniformity has a limit as well. Ten recipients are not two hundred, and a list that short is better split into two or three groups with genuinely different formats than dressed in identical ribbon. Past that point the gift reads as a mailing, and everybody on the list can tell. Send the list with districts, phones and access hours, mark the addresses out past Uluwatu and Tabanan separately, and say which recipients will still be here in January.
